- Assurance of Yeast in fermentation (Version m1.0 for Molasses)
- Assurance of Yeast in fermentation (Version m1.0 for Molasses)
Fermentation process is the fundamental bio chemical process which actually gets us the Alcohol. All the other processes are placed for getting better quality of it, but if it wasn’t for this bio-chemical process, there would have been no use of other processes.
As time progressed, it has been observed that, in order to reduce overall cost, prominence of this fundamental process is getting deviated considerably. Be it a number of pre-fermenters considered in the process or omitting out WST; deflections introduced in the name of new age technology is really costing distilleries particularly in long run.
Infusion of Pro-FERM – version m1.0 – in your distillery plant basically ensures no compromise over yeast generation and hence best in class alcohol concentration out of fermentation process is ensured with it. Under Pre-FERM m1.0, we have developed different modules which are based out of in detailed study of the following parameters,
a. Region from where the feed is considered.
b. Details of TRS and FS
c. Provision of Lees or process condensate reciliation
Following is the comparison made available in tabular form elaborating differences with conventional fermentation process and Pro-FERM
Comparison Parameter | Conventional Fermentation Process | Pro-Ferm |
---|---|---|
Number of Pre-fermenters | 1 Number | 2 Numbers |
Number of fermentation tanks | 3-4 Varies | 4 Numbers |
Number of Wash Settling tanks | N.A. | 1 Numbers |
Initial Aeration Arrangement for Yeast conditioning in Fermentation Tank | NO | YES |
Fermentation Time | 32 Hours | 36 Hours |
Sludge separation Feature | NO | YES |
Provision for Alcohol separation from Sludge | NO | YES |
Pro-FERM’s customised module for molasses basis distilleries – version m1.0 – and above mentioned differences in it compared to conventional system, better alcohol concentration is guaranteed out of fermentation process.
